A Waze volunteer map editor may direct you to this page after making changes to the map where it is necessary to remove a cached address or business stored in the Waze app.
All instances of the cached result need to be removed from the Waze app, or you may not benefit from the corrections to the map.

Instructions
These instructions are for the Waze app on the mobile device, and not for in-car systems.
Remove place from recent locations
- Open Waze and tap > Settings > Privacy > Recent locations
- Find all references to the address or business
- Tap … next to the place > Remove
- Repeat the process for all impacted places.

Delete saved place
If the address or business was in your saved places (including home or work), these also need to be deleted and re-added.
- Open Waze and tap
- Tap the search bar
- Tap Saved
- Find all references to the address or business
- Tap … next to the place > Remove
- Repeat the process for all impacted places.

Now what?
- Force close Waze and open it again
- Search for the edited address or business and tap drive there
- Observe that the address or business stop point is at the correct location.
Still not working?
You may still receive the old result if any instances of the cached address or business are not removed from Waze.
