Steps to reproduce this issue:
Select several segments with many closures.
As you can see in the attached video, deleting these closures will sometimes just refresh the segments, and does not show the Remove Closures dialog. I cannot detect a pattern.
Also, you can see that the Remove Closures dialog is outside of the WME window. This was originally reported in Closure bugs

Attaching the video as the original bug submission form said the video was too large even though it’s only 14 MB with an error message saying attachments should be less than 25 MB.

Many thanks for your report. I have tried various workflows and have not been able to reproduce this issue on my end. I would suggest looking into your browser data and clearing cache and cookies.
However, if you happen to find a pattern, please let me know.
The Remove Closures dialog is outside of the WME window is still in progress. I will let you know once there is an update on that.

After removing another set of closures, I figured out the problem.
WME has not completed removing the closures but it still allowed me to select “Delete”. That list had over 100 closures on it, so the closures deleted message is not visible at all since it’s at the bottom of the list.
This is now more of a performance issue…as it takes some time to remove the closures on WME.
