Double roundabouts

I have another example here with a UR. Connector is two-way, 5m, un-named

routing across it is OK west > east, but not east > west

Did we decide that two one-way segments was a good solution to this?

That’s certainly my understanding, and when I come across these with only a single link, I always rebuild, even without a UR.

Thanks. Minimum of 10m segments too?

Don’t know about that but I can think of a number of double roundabouts where a 10m pair of segments between them would be a physical impossibility - after all, some of the roundabouts are actually only about 5-7m in diameter, so I would think not. You’ll have to wait for one of the wiser heads to answer that definitively.

Thanks, I think you might have solved my problem. I have a double in Bristol where the council have decided to build “wings” to the central island separating the RBs, making it almost impossible to drive a larger vehicle round in two of the “right” turns. No even sure I can get 10m segments in. The roads form a perfect cross so why complicate it. :?

For ref: This solution has fixed the routing issue. UR updated and closed
