Hi,
A user has been given a strange routing from the A20 in Kent to Dover Ferry Port via the continent. Any ideas as to why this may have happened?

I think I’ve found the issue…
There is a Google Maps marker for Dover (Ferry Port), a bus/coach station, which is located on the Entry to A20 (W), due to the nature of the road layout / turn restrictions, the only way to navigate to this point is to route across the ferry segment, do a u-turn at the first major junction, and return along the ferry segment to reach the destination.
There doesn’t appear to be any Google linked places on the Waze Port Ferry Dover, I’ll let you decide if you wish to link this or submit a name change to Google Maps.
I see an IGN editor has recently had fun messing up this place… maybe the lock needs raising again to L4… :?
All the little things sorted out. You were right, some IGN had had a lot of fun screwing up this important place. I’ve edited the google place and linked it to waze. Oh and Eastern Docks is now at L4. Lets hope they have the sense to leave it alone now, or it’ll have to go up to L5 or L6 to stop the madness.
Thanks again,
Ian
