Driving directions, a scenic Westward route, “The Big B”

However, about a month ago (or 2, or 3), waze dd (driving directions) decided a scenic Westward route was better.

The full incorrect scenic Westward route (+ turn left, +turn left), aka the driving directions, ends at “The Big B”.

When driving, as soon as waze realizes I took the curve eastward, it recalculates and fixes the dd.
I thought someone edited a junction incorrectly, perhaps removing it, so I’d go edit the map and, if this area was not locked, fix it.
Well, the issue is not that the map is locked at 5.
The issue is that I see nothing wrong with the map.
It looks correct, and I noticed no recent edit dates.
I looked at all, or just in case I missed one, I’ll say nearly all the entire North to East routes and East to South routes, both normal routes and Toll road, including side roads, layer numbers, dates edited, exits, junction points, etc., etc., and didn’t find an error. There may be one, but I didn’t find it.
Another weird thing is that when starting the dd from home or creating them on Waze driving directions, the Westward ‘detour’ does not exist. The rerouting occurs while driving.
Can someone fix the driving directions?

Has this happened more than once?
It’s not impossible that the routing engine made a mistake based on outdated traffic conditions or an interruption in the connection when processing the route. It shouldn’t happen, but very rarely it does.
I see nothing wrong there either, although I am curious if these segments had different names on purpose or not?
I also moved this to the Texas forum as they are the most familiar with the area and will know better if there are ever unusual issues here.
I’ve had a few reports through that area where Waze has the driver snapped on the wrong segment, which then leads to poor routing instructions. Have you dropped any reports while driving through there?
