Sorry if this isn’t the right place for this. I am trying to add a new place in an area near to home, it says the lock is level 1 and I am a level 1 editor and I get this error 
Would appreciate any help 
We’ve been hearing of this from a couple of other new editors but haven’t been able to determine the exact cause. If you are mapping new Places, are you linking the Google place to the new location (does it even show for you :?: ).
Try adding a new Place with the most basic info, just the title, if this saves, you can then all the other info required. The best way to determine the cause is to make little steps and see where you get blocked.

Tried adding just the name and description and the linked google place and same error managed to save it by removing the linked google place.
Just need a L2 editor to approve it now and I can make further edits.
I believe linking the Google data is restricted to L2, why this isn’t greyed out for you I don’t know, Staff work in mysterious ways.
If you provide a permalink to the Waze Place I’m happy to take a look.
