Was able to update on Google Maps…Elliott Gate in and outbound to JBPHH is closed until they get more manning. Please make this edit live!

I’m guessing you mean this gate (sometimes called Kuntz Gate, I think)?

Is there any indication there how long this might be closed?

Following up: The Nimitz Visitor Center confirmed the closure during weekdays. He said he heard it was open for limited hours (4 daily?) on the weekends, but he wasn’t sure of the details there.

I’m going to swing by today and see if anything is posted.
