I duplicated an event and only 2 of the turn closures copied over. I did it again with the same result. It appears WME isn’t capturing every turn closure that’s associated with the event in the event list, therefore it isn’t being duplicated.
Refining this bug report a bit: the events are not capturing all the turn closures in their list of verified closures. I don’t believe this is really a duplication bug, as much as an MTE bug.
And although all 7 of the turn closures are linked to the event Texas A&M vs Citadel, and all 7 are highlighted on the map, only 2 of them show up in the closure list of the event.
Because only 2 show up in the event, when I go to duplicate it (because I’m using this one as a template), only 2 get duplicated over to the new event. Then I have to either manually enter them in or use another script.
I haven’t really had any other real-world events with turn closures.
I tested creating a new event out in the jm6087 testbed area and added some closures and turn closures and it seemed to show them all, but it wasn’t nearly the magnitude of the Texas A&M football closures. Those have maybe 20 different segment closure groups. They had to be split out due to different times. I also had to have three closure groups for each time block due to 2-way, A>B and B>A being different. So I’m not sure if maybe there’s a per-event max that was reached and turn closures were the final thing that got bumped.
I’m using the Texas A&M vs Citadel game as a template for the others since it has a noon kickoff. Then I can duplicate it and adjust the kickoff time earlier or later.
