Delete or mark as private roads? I have seen both so I am looking for an idea of what everyone else is doing.

Hmm, haven’t concentrated on them. Might be a case by case. Short ones that may not be needed for guidance to the house, I would delete. Long ones that go back aways, I would mark private and leave.

I do both (delete or mark as private roads) depending on a few things, particularly: how near they are to public roads, and whether a naive driver would count them as “streets” in that environment. Mostly I delete them - ordinary drivers shouldn’t even know about them.
I look at GPS layer and if there are any marks I leave the roads and mark private. Otherwise I delete them.

Most of them that I have seen are just long driveways by me (Kendall County) and I’ve deleted them. Some I’ve kept if they can be used to access more than one house. The ones I’ve deleted were all from the basemap.
Why in the heck are you deleting roads on the map? I deliver to farms out in the country. I don’t understand why you people would delete a road off of map!
There are a ton of useless driveways that came from the basemap import. We are just cleaning up the extra unneeded driveways and following the Wiki on Driveways.
Ok sorry, thought your talking about numbered roads.
