Is it only my imagination or is there no easy way to login to the forums? Maybe I’m slowly going loopy, but I don’t seem to be able to locate it. I’ve resorted to clicking the ‘New Topic’ buttons to force a login page and then overriding the page refresh afterwards.
Any other sites I have used have usually had a ‘Log-in’ link either solely for their forums, or have it integrated as part of an overall login mechanism for their entire website.
The one on the top right is for the scoreboard. For the forum login, you can click on any forum userid and it will not show you anything until you login to the forum. This is usually the same id and password. Click the “Keep me logged in” button and it should not bother you again. Same idea for uservoice and the wiki. This system is complex, and they did not take the time to make it simple.
if you’re on N/A server (US/Canadada) then if you’re logon to dashboard, then is no problem with logon to forum it seems to seamless. Unfortunately it doesn’t work this way on “world” server.
I’ve found that some time ago, but as we can see, there was no fix on that so far
I don’t even have to hit the login button. As long as the cache in chrome has not been deleted, it will log me in automatically cause the ucp link is my startpage.
For me, I know I’ve had previous trouble with the forum not always recognizing me from the main site Login, so I’ve used the ucp.php (and others) to log me in and used the “Log me in automatically” checkbox. My bookmark link I use on all my systems (kept in line with data sync) is https://www.waze.com/signin/?page=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.waze.com%2Fforum%2F. All my browsers have my credentials saved, so all I do is hit Sign In and I rarely have any issues.
