I’m thinking about a solution to all this new topics about

  • no forum search
  • points not updating
  • routes not updating
  • other editing smalltalk that is settled between all the forum veterans

Most forums have some sort of special announcement topics, with higher priority thant stickies, that show up on any forum section. So we should ask the admins to do that and have a decent list of frequent problems and solutions, pointing people to the wiki or even make a wiki page with the proposed content of the topic.

So there… i hope the forum software has the means to do that.

Well, they just announced in the announcements section that they have added a server status page, which should get rid of some of these repeat topics.

Unfortunately, I haven’t found it yet… but maybe I’m just not looking in the right place O.o
