Can we put a trap on the first post here to tell users the answers to why they don’t see points? Holy Cow! How many times is it going to be asked?
I know you’re not new here, but we’ve been answering the same points questions for years. Even if there was a post, it wouldn’t be read, IMO. We’d get a few less per week perhaps.
You could put a giant flashing neon sticky thread at the top titled, “Here’s why you have no points!” and I don’t think it would help!
As Alan said probably marginally reduced these days but a burden to bear I think!
Of course my suggestion to put something directly into the Scoreboard is being ignored…
It should say right next to the point total that is viewed from within the Waze Application - ‘Point calculations are currently suspended and will resume soon. Point are not being lost, just not being processed and displayed’. Also remove the ‘points update every 24 hours’ line.
As long as this ‘points update every 24 hours’ line is there, we will continue to get post after post after post about this. Until they fix this permanently.
Again, this needs to be integrated into the Scoreboard. Not tucked away at status.waze.com or in the forums.
This is likely the #1 issue that drives people nuts. Where are MY POINTS!

Remove the promise of “daily” updates if this (as in the last several months) is no longer possible.

I’m thinking waze could leverage the ability of phpbb to inform new users of the rules of a forum to inform them of the scoring and updating problems. There are new-user tools in phpbb that can even prevent first posts if the rules aren’t followed.
