We recently attempted to get to the Golf And Mountain Cottages located at Jay Peak ski resort in VT. We searched for it in Waze and found it saved in Waze as a map location entitled “Golf And Mountain Cottages.” The address Waze associated with that map location is 656 Morse Road, Jay, VT. That’s incorrect. If you drive there, you’ll end up in the middle of nowhere, and your cell service will fail, and you won’t have any idea where to go. I wish Waze let you click on “map issue” when you go back to a previously-visited address in your history and tap the three little dots to the right of the listed address you already visited. That way, I could have reported the address as being incorrect. It’s hard to report incorrect addresses or map issues while you’re driving…for obvious reasons.
I’m sorry that you had that experience. When Waze encounters a search for a location that is not explicitly mapped in the Waze mapping system it currently reverts to a Google search to find the search result. I suspect this occurred in your case. We will update Jay Peak resort in the Waze map. Thanks for the feedback.
Regarding the wish that Waze allowed you to click on map issue - You can submit the suggestion to the Waze official “suggestion box” but as you might imagine these are prioritized based on business needs.

Just did a search for Golf and Mountain Cottages in Google Maps and Google returns the 656 Morse Rd location in Jay VT - indeed, not part of the Jay Peak Resort complex. (This result came from Google Maps.)
I don’t know if this is an incorrectly placed Google Maps pin - or if the place at that address actually is a B&B or something.
I’ll take a look at the Jay Resort in more detail later tonight and see if we can make improvements in Waze. It is sometimes difficult though to know where a similar or duplicate location exists in Google Maps (that may be in the wrong place). I’ll also attempt to check on that and if appropriate suggest moving Google Maps pin to the resort.
Waze changes typically take a few days before they are live to Wazers on the Internet. Google Maps updates may take longer. We’ll share updates as info becomes available here.
Note: once updated it is important that you deleted any saved or cached old locations from the Waze app - which will force the app to get newly updated info.

I’ve attempted to move the incorrect Google Maps location of Golf & Mountain Cottages to 40 Fairway, Jay VT
I’ve also added all the VT E911 addresses for the Golf & Mountain Cottage addresses. (Note: those numbers on the resort map are not street addresses but some internal resort property location number.)
Added a Waze place called Golf & Mountain Cottages that will take you to the 40 Fairway address.
I also found the erroneous reference to the Morse Rd location on other web sites (like ski.com) using the same bad Google Maps data. Hopefully they will also benefit from these changes.
We’ll loop back to the area in the Waze map in the future and work on making further updates in and around the resort.
The Waze changes that were made tonight should be live probably by the weekend. Requests for changes to Google Maps can take a day or two or an extended amount of time.
If you want to navigate to that location again please wait until at least this weekend and delete any saved / remembered / cached searched entries, which will cause the Waze app to retrieve new search results from the servers. Please check the location to ensure that it is one of the new ones on the resort and not the old, erronous one.
