Been using Waze for yonks and make an effort to report everything that pops up.
Normally I stay off forums and the like, but keen to upskill in the map editing side of things and you guys seem alright

Things to keep an eye out for, speed limits that seem to change every few months. 
Quite a few new features are coming very soon that you can’t see yet, multi type cameras & school zones.
You can msg here or via the DM feature in app or WME (Editor)

Quick question,
Does Waze have a way of implementing the, very kiwi-esque, roadworks with stop and go signs for a lane closure?
I noticed the road closure requests tab and am wondering if it’s even worth reporting those (I regularly drive past several that have posted start and end dates on them).

Hi Ben, welcome to the community!
To (hopefully) answer your question if the road is under stop/go control and you can still travel both directions, you can report that in the app as road construction. Since the road is still passable in both directions, if you mark the road closed that will cause other drivers to be routed around the map closure.
If you report roadworks in the app or by voice (Hey Google, report construction) the pin will last for 8 hrs.
So, for roadworks that are scheduled for multiple months, what’s the recommendation for that?
Essentially just wondering if there is a more permanent way for the stop/go delay being accounted for in Waze, or just relying on people to report it every 8 hours?
