I’m not sure who’s watching the forum for Indiana, so I thought I’d get a conversation started and see who’s out there. I’ve seen other states’ To-Do lists helping them get organized. Would the other area managers out there be interested in helping develop this? Would others find this helpful? Feel free to weigh in below.
Hey neighbor, being in Illinois, I have crossed over into Indiana to help out. Take a look at our state page in my signature. ArlenBystander set it up and pretty much took what CT did and tweaked it for our area. Several other states have some good pages to see, Utah, Missouri, Wisconsin, etc…
I’m not a computer program writer, but once it was set up, it was easy to add to it. I’m sure someone could help you set it up. the1who is our area rep that might have some info for you too.
I have been a long-time NW Indiana resident who has spent a great deal of time driving in NW Indiana, Greater Chicagoland area and SW Michigan. If there are coordinated todo’s I’d be happy to help out. As it is, I spend a fair bit of time simply closing URs, inspecting areas I am most familiar with and generally trying to keep my little corner of the world in decent shape.
This sounds like a decent idea. I’ve been primarily operating in the “Michiana” region trying to keep things as clean as possible closing URs and whatnot, and have recently been dropping into random rural areas and cleaning them up to fix unknown and incorrect one-way roads, but would be happy to work on larger projects to clean the state up in a bit more organized fashion.
I know this thread is several months old, but I would also be willing to add my time to much larger projects in Indiana. I recently have been driving out into rural areas ( particularly West & Southwest of Indianapolis) and have found hundreds of roads and thousands of segments as one way or unknown…I have even found this on some state roads that had extremely short segments!
