L4 - Lane Guidance Update in Pontypridd

* As an update to this, if this road and the 2 or 3 other linked to it can be unlocked to Level 3 then I can take a look at this myself if this is easier as I know the road well.

The Lane guidance is incorrect and confusing that is being shown on the A4058 (Mill Street) when approaching the traffic lights under the viaduct.

When approaching the viaduct (approximately where the red car is on the google maps) to travel down the A4058 to the A470 the lane guidance is showing 4 lanes with the left 2 white and the right 2 greyed but this is incorrect as the left lane should show a greyed left arrow, the middle two should show white straight arrows and the right should show a greyed right arrow.

At the next set of traffic lights this should change to 4 lanes with the left 2 lanes white with the right 2 lanes as a greyed right arrows.

The arrow setup would be the same but the highlighted colours would change to drive a different road i.e. to drive down the A4058 (Mill St) onto the A4223 (Catherine St) the left lane should show a White left arrow, the middle two should show Greyed straight arrows and the right should show a greyed right arrow etc.

To drive back towards the Rhondda the highlighted lanes would need to change again and I can confirm this if required.

Thanks, yes I can see how this would be confusing. You could mistake the LG for the second junction when you are at the junction with Catherine St just past the viaduct.
I’ve added a TIO to advise a keep right at this point as well as LG. Unfortunately we can only add LG junction by junction, we can’t yet tell traffic to get in the correct lane two junctions out. So traffic turning right to go back on the A4058 west will be told to stay in the right 3 lanes just after the viaduct, then in the right two lanes at this split: https://waze.com/en-GB/editor?env=row&lat=51.60130&lon=-3.34282&marker=true&s=137509313813&zoomLevel=19&segments=314170402

Thank You, I travel this road every day so I will see how this now works and hopefully it will be better as at the moment it isnt very good, especially the first part with the 4 lanes showing different to the road layout.
