When traveling B –> A on the locked segment users were complaining about one primary thing:

  1. Not enough instruction to effectively navigate the intersection. i.e. if you don’t move right you get stuck in two left turn lanes or if you do move right you are not able to make the left. See below

Better than just an unlock, advice on how to handle the intersection is appreciated too.

However, if you don’t queue in the left lane and want to make a left there is not enough signage to assist the driver.

I fixed the first permalink. There’s nothing that’s going to be able to be done with the other one…unless you REALLY want to complicate the intersection. I don’t know how that’s going to work, though. I’ve got a couple of very complicated intersections, but haven’t had any URs with them in…3 months or so. I’ve been told on more than one occasion that “simpler is better” but I’ve defended my complexity and will battle over my complex intersections until I start getting URs on it…which hasn’t happened.

Getting back to your posting, I fixed the turn restriction for the first permalink. The rest, I haven’t done, because there’s nothing to do about it.

Thanks. This what I thought and most likely why mike-1323 locked it.
