Done. Please relock

The place that you named “3901 Lick Mill Blvd - Resident Garage” will show up that way in the app. We avoid using the address in place names. And we don’t map garages/parking lots unless they are public. Same thing for the other place that you named “3901 Lick Mill Blvd - Main Entrance”.

Thanks. I was wrestling in my mind on how to deal with it. The issue is that this is a large multi-family housing building with 2 vehicle entrances, but 1 HN. Residents coming from the South are going to the Resident Garage (off Lick Mills) - by the way, this was where the Pin Point for the original HN was (since deleted). However, there are 2 URs from people coming from the N that state that Waze is routing them to the main road (Montague Expwy) and doing a U-Turn, rather than directing them to turn at the PLR. I was trying to figure how to fix this. A single HN, in my mind would not do…neither would a RPP. I took as inspiration this particular solution at Moscone Center where there is a separate delivery entrance https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-122.40338&lat=37.78242&zoom=6&venues=155713914.1557139138.2289980&lo%20...%20ueFilter=0&u pdate_requestsFilter=false from the “regular” drop-off entrance https://www.waze.com/editor/?env=usa&lon=-122.40338&lat=37.78242&zoom=6&venues=155713914.1557139138.877912&lo%20...%20ueFilter=0&u pdate_requestsFilter=false . That’s why I came up with the solution I did.

I went ahead and put in the housing complex name as primary in the PP with the address as alternate so users can still search for the address and not have it come up with the Google Pin. Do you think this is a better solution? What’s your thoughts on other ways to resolve this?

We do not map parking lots unless they are public. They need to be something where ANYONE can leave their vehicle and go ANYWHERE. The instructions for mapping parking lots are spread across multiple wikis. Here are some:

The Wiki about Private Installations is a good reference point for this location. Do we need to map primarily for residents or guests? Are there any gates or signs that prohibit general access? When people search for locations there, do they search by address or name? Do they prefer one entrance over another?

What was their exact search term?
