Level3 Update: Massachusetts - Barnstable

I am a new to Waze so Level 1. But - I am also an experienced cartographer.

I assume that the fix to my observed problem is to make the left turn on this segment dis-allowed.

The problem is as follows:
I’m on a Waze route which takes me on US RT-6 Westbound and then to RT-146 (Meetinghouse Way) Southbound.
The Waze route coming off the highway says “Stay Right” and then “Turn Left” – drawing a line to take the right-hand turn ramp segment, and then a very sharp left turn onto Meetinghouse Way.

Obviously, the correct routing is simply “Turn Left” and draw the route STRAIGHT ahead using segment

(which already DOES correctly allow a left turn)

and then a left turn onto Meetinghouse Way.

Sorry to respond so late - your post was buried in the forum. I removed the left turn permission. Waze was using the right turn lane because the time it takes to make a left turn was longer and made that segment appear slower. By disallowing the sharp left turn from the merging lane, it forces the server to chose the correct path.
