I’ve seen this type of routing issue a few times now. Wondering if there are some good places to look right off the bat to see why the system is generating a route like this?
Before I go touching anything, I see some routing issues right off the bat with the box in the center. If you are going to keep the lane assist segments, then the turns for the right need to be disabled in the center area there.
On this one, it will send routing to turn right, go down to a cross street and make a u-turn to come back instead of waiting for the left turn signal. I made the cross segments at the u-turns less than 15m to deter this.
I grab the intersection node and slide it to a point and save. Then I check the segment length. If it was 17m when I start, I know it won’t take much to get it down to 14m. It’s the larger ones that take some playing with. If I move it to a point that it doesn’t look right, I lock it to keep someone new coming along and think they are helping by aligning the roads to the aerial better.
