I don’t know if this is the right forum, or if I should post this on another one (I don’t want to edit the map, but only report an issue), but here is the problem: I know a street which have a problem on Waze Maps, and I want to report it so someone can fix it. The problem is that I can’t report it within the app because I never go near that street with the car, and I can’t reach it by walking because is too far away. So I went on the Waze website, in the Live Map section, I found the street, and tried to report the problem within the Live Map interface (like you do in Google Maps): everything works well, except when I click Send button, it appears in red (for a couple of seconds) the error “Oops something went wrong. Try again later.”. I’m having this error since months. I also tried with different devices and different accounts, but the error is still there. Tried to change the problem type, but nothing, got same result. Even if I change location, and try to report other problems on other streets via Live Map, I have the same problem.
So here I am. Right below you can find an animated gif so you can see the error I get. The Waze language is in Italian, but I think you can ignore it because the layout is very simple and similar to the English one.
I don’t know why you have that issue but try this: select the street, go to chain icon (left down corner) then press mouse right button and copy in your country/city forum (Italy I guess) that link pointing
real name of the street.

Quello che volevo segnalare è che suddetta strada è diventata a senso unico, e che è percorribile solo da nord verso sud … ma a parte questo dettaglio, ora mi preme sapere come mai non riesco a fare questa segnalazione tramite interfaccia web. Mi piacerebbe risolvere questa situazione, perché, almeno per me, è molto comodo segnalare problemi tramite la Live Map, piuttosto che dall’app mentre sto guidando.

Per la Live Map, ho provato su diversi computer, con diversi browser, con diversi account, e su diverse strade: non c’è stata mai una volta che ha funzionato. Da qui a dire che succede su tutte le strade non lo so, quello che so è che le strade su cui ho tentato di segnalare qualcosa tramite Live Map sono andate tutte in errore … ma è una cosa che va avanti da mesi e mesi ormai.
Per test, prova a fare tu quello che ho tentato di fare io su quella strada … fa la stessa cosa? O ti funziona?
L’errore continua a presentarsi per qualsiasi cosa voglia segnalare nella Live Map. E’ un errore che capita anche ad altri? Purtroppo per me è scomodo segnalare problemi direttamente dall’app perché mi distrae dalla guida, quindi quando mi ricordo tento di segnalare i problemi a posteriori dalla Live Map.
Ho fatto una prova in questo momento e mi sembra che tutto funzioni correttamente.
Una domanda sciocca, ma per dire che non funziona sei entrato nel WME per verifica che la segnalazione sia stata inserita?

Quando hai fatto la prova, l’hai fatta dalle tue parti, oppure nei paraggi della strada segnalata in questo thread? Potrebbe essere un problema che va a zone?
