I know we all don’t want tons of old reports cluttering up the maps, but construction zones typically last a lot longer than waze keeps them on the map. I report the same construction on the way to work, every day… I’m glad for the points, but why does it keep vanishing? They’re in the midst of rebuilding a bridge. That doesn’t happen inside of a couple of hours…
Reports are intended for short term situations. Road crew repairing a crash barrier, working in a man hole, etc.
For long term outages, you would be better off to edit the map per the wiki recommendations. Hopefully in the future, Waze can give us a way to schedule road closures, so we don’t have to do “temporary” map edits.
