Haven’t heard a response in 7 Days, please add, have you forgotten or almost forgot about my posts?, please respond as soon as you can, it really shouldn’t take forever to simply add 2 streets, I have only seen 1 post on this forum resolved in the past week, Is it too much to ask for someone to respond, If you are busy taking care of other requests, that’s fine but do not ignore these important posts or there will be consequences for drivers who regularly use this app to find directions back home and if someone lives down these streets it would be considered a valuable piece of information for drivers to add these streets and others in this forum.
Still haven’t heard back, wondering if these map issues will ever get solved, No response and the way this is going is that these messages are being put in limbo
If no response is given then i’ll just assume that someone is just too busy doing more important things than to deal with update issues, I can understand that but i need a response ASAP explaining the reason why it took so long to deal with these map issues, These road aren’t gonna add themselves and I cannot do them on my own after my account couldn’t log in to the editor period
To add 2 roads shouldn’t take 7 whole days, this is ridiculous already. I am just wondering why it would take 7 days and no response later to finally have to reply myself to get someone to explain the situation and this is not normal, It feels like the Alberta forum is just being neglected, would’ve this been taken of if someone would’ve responded already. It is like this update request is just turning into a bulletin for me to respond to my own posts and nobody fixes them after almost a week and a half, There are over 50 posts that need to be dealt with ASAP because it will be over a week with no responses on this forum and it could become a year in limbo. No bad intentions, just need an explanation.
We appreciate that you want to contribute, but you need to understand a few things:
•The editing community consists entirely of volunteers who do this for fun and to help their fellow users. You have been invited to participate.
•By design, editing privilege is granted as you drive to these locations. We want the map to evolve from boots on the ground knowledge. Users who do not wish to edit directly can submit update requests through the app to share their knowledge.
•Your information has proven dubious on many occasions already. As stated to you before, we are not a blind data aggregator. Everything on the map must be verifiable. If we had a high rate of success in confirming your requests, we might be a little more trusting.
•When every request is submitted as ASAP, none can be prioritized. If these items were truly affecting users urgently, we would be receiving update requests from them. We do our best to be proactive, but not to the point of adding unconfirmed data.
•Your approach borders on being rude, and in this case is totally inappropriate.
Sorry for my borderline rude responses, I just didn’t know how else i would approach this to have the message spread across faster, I will try to do better in the future, I do not want to sound mean or use any sentences that would make people uncomfortable, Albertans need to have an updated map that’s all, Erablian has been really helpful so far, keep up the good work, I apologize for any wrongdoing, sometimes I can’t read signs correctly because of my advanced aging in my eyes

Albertans need to have an updated map that’s all, Erablian has been really helpful so far, keep up the good work, I apologize for any wrongdoing, sometimes I can’t read signs correctly because of my advanced aging in my eyes which hinders my capabilities of seeing things properly. which is why some of the data may be skewed, but it shouldn’t be discounted as being unconfirmed since it is unfortunate that my eyes deceive me, if extra verification is needed that’s ok
I have since stopped using ASAP period since March 17, so no worries here, If my posts continue to be ignored they would be my past ones and doesn’t currently reflect my current self, I have changed

We are also limited by satellite imagery. Much of AB is out of date and, despite our requests, we aren’t a huge priority for updated imagery. We’re doing our best but we don’t get paid to drive to unknown roads. There are ways for you to pave roads or edit the map yourself, though. That would be helpful.
