im new to waze but for the past few days ive been using it and adding some new roads…however my dashboard isnt showing me having completed anything at all…does it take a while or do i have a problem??? 
None of your routes are showing up at all? I’d make sure you’re logged into the right system: www.waze.com if you’re in the US or Canada, or world.waze.com if you’re anywhere else in the world.
im in the uk…you say logged into the right system but im not sure what you mean(pc or phone??)
He means pc. Make you’re looking for your dashboard on world.waze.com.

Yeah, sorry. There are two “systems” that store points/process your routes/etc. One does points, routes and such for just the US and Canada, and the other does those things for the rest of the world. Since you’re in the UK, make sure you’re typing in “world.waze.com” and logging into your dashboard (on your PC) from there in order to check your routes/roads.
If you weren’t seeing any routes before, I suspect you were logging into “www.waze.com” instead… it makes sense that you wouldn’t see any routes there, unless you’ve been driving in Canada or the US! Also, sometimes it takes a few days for your routes to show up in your dashboard… so if you ARE logging in correctly at “world.waze.com” and still not seeing anything, wait a couple of days and everything will show up.
I learned something today! There are so few females using Waze I would have assumed the same.

No problem! I don’t think there’s really a quick crash course, but start by reading the wiki, specifically the map editing section.
There are a couple of ten minute videos in the user blog which quickly explain some of the important basics very well, link in my signature!
