Been using Waze this past week, and wanted to take a look at the editor at some point as I’m intrigued by a strange routing issue at a roundabout near to where I live. Anyway, as it stands I have nothing showing in the “My Dashboard” section, no routes, but also no stats of any kind on the right side of the screen under “Rank”, just a lot of “NaN” instead?? I seem to be getting points on the phone app (although they don’t seem to correlate with points I have apparently earnt), but nothing is reflected on the website. Is this due to some kind of problem, or have I managed to do something wrong whilst setting up the app (not sure how though)?
Sometimes the Dashboard takes a while to start updating (usually measured in days, but if there are bigger issues on your server it could be weeks). See http://status.waze.com for information about outages/issues.
Thanks for the info, I’m now starting to think it might be something to do with the “My Dashboard” page itself. I automatically get redirected to world.waze.com in my browser, which definately should be the right server. What I did do though is force it onto www.waze.com, and logged in there, and weirdly my profile details show correctly in the “My Dashboard” section of that site, no points are shown etc, which is what I would have expected. There was a link to “Scoreboard” though (which doesn’t appear when logged in on world.waze.com), and using that URL and manually switching the beginning of the URL to world.waze.com does show up my points etc. Because of that, I’m thinking it’s a problem with the page.
There’s no problem with the page other than being a little confusing. If you are not in Canada or USA you should be on world.waze.com.
The mix up can arise when moving from the forum which is hosted on the North American server so the links at the top will direct you incorrectly. If you hit the waze login first you should then route correctly.
If there is no problem with the page, then why am I not seeing any stats etc? Don’t get it.
I’ve attached (hopefully) a screenshot to show you what I mean, you can see that I am on world.waze.com, and logged in at the top of the screen.
