NC Mapping Resources page in the Wiki

I’ve noticed that the NC page under Mapping Resources isn’t created.

It would be a good idea to create one where we can share the GIS pages we have saved, or any other information that may help us edit the roads around the state.

Right now I’ve got GIS links for Johnston, Orange, Durham, and Wake counties.

If they shouldn’t go there, where would be a good central place for things like this?

This is the blank page link BTW: https://www.waze.com/wiki/North_Carolina_mapping_resources

GIS links are a good thing to add to every states mapping resource page.

Did you just create the NC Mapping resource page? Because in your post you say that it isn’t created.

Allot of the stuff the new NC Mapping Resource page should go on a page called North Carolina.
Mapping resource page are only for resources like:
GIS
Links to construction information
Links to DOT page
See: Washington Mapping Resources for an example

State specific pages are for Mapping rules/guildlines that followed in the state that might not be followed in every state. See Washington for an example.

Also there is a To Do NC section this should be on a seperate To Do page. See To Do Washington for an example

I would suggest moving the following to a new NC page:
1 Forum
3 Road
4 Landmarks
6 Special Roads
6.1 Non-Driveable Roads
7 Speed / Red Light Cameras
10 Area Managers

And move the following to the To Do page:
5 Major Construction Projects

While the input is appreciated. I think that is the best place for now to put this info. Given that this is the natural progression through the wiki from the USA editing page. I point you to Connecticut which is what the NC page is based on follows the same format (In fact the NC page is based on that, Thanks Andy).

With regards to your other suggestions the wiki is a work in progress. I have had it sitting on my computer for the last 6 months trying to find the time to get it up and formatted the way we wanted. Goodolsen with his inspiration of listing the GIS sites had inspired me to put this page up and running before I felt it was fully mature. I do think you made a few good suggestions though and will take it under advisement.
