Just wanted to make everyone aware that there is a South Carolina wiki page and I am working on getting some useful info up on it. If you have any links for the county mapping resources, please feel free to add them in.
Links I used when mapping:
http://206.74.144.9/gismapping//default.aspx
http://www2.census.gov/geo/maps/dc10map/tract/st45_sc/
https://www.waze.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=129&t=38934 (I think out of date since places were put in)
Also for Greenville County: http://ims.gcgis.org/webmappub/
http://www.gcgis.org/apps/greenvillejs/
Yeah, that’s no longer valid now that we have places; the Places wiki page has the info needed. Those other links are already in the wiki.
I have the first link currently listed in the wiki; is one of those more appropriate to link to, or is there a page with different links on the Greenville county site?
I didn’t look at the wiki before linking them.
As far as the two different links, I assume they provide different information. I just know they’re map links, I haven’t actually used them myself.
There has been a new State Template added to the wiki and I have updated the state’s wiki page to test this out. You can see it in action at https://wiki.waze.com/wiki/South_Carolina/Test.
I would suggest to put something in there about SC-XX for highways instead of State Hwy XX.
It’s added under major roads. Maybe I can try adding it as a notice…
The new state wiki page is now live.
