Need help adding a private gate that makes a road not routable

There is a permanent gate at the arrow I added here. You cannot pass between that neighborhood and the land on the east. The private landowner on the east owns that gate.

I think the segment needs split into 3? You can drive to that person’s house from the east but not via the gate.

I hope someone more experienced can help! I had to backtrack 10 minutes.
