The back entrance to my neighborhood has a segment marked as a private road. Therefore, waze refuses to use that entrance. Can someone please fix it?

I’m mobile and the PL you gave isn’t working. Can you provide another one?

The PL did work, but it goes to Birmingham, AL. I can’t edit there, but looking at that segment I believe it is correct to be Private. That said, if there are other entrances to the neighborhood, they should also be marked Private and there are ways to make Waze prefer what looks to be the main entrance over the others. I’ll see if I can send someone that can help you to this topic, but I suggest posting in the Alabama forum to get local editors who can help you further.
While not a local, the neighborhood in question does conform to the wiki for https://wazeopedia.waze.com/wiki/USA/Private_Installations. If your house is closer to the “back entrance” I would suggest manually setting a favorite just outside the gate house. To do this, scroll the map in the app to the area you want to go to, then long press. This will bring up a menu with 3 dots in the upper right corner. Open that 3 dot menu, then preview location. In the next screen is an option to set the location as a favorite. If you do that, you can navigate there, and move on.
Yes. I can confirm as well. The maps are set correctly to the current standard. It is recommended to create a favorite just outside the gate for yourself to route to, then proceed on without a route, start a new route, or you can use the “add a stop” method to route you to the favorite as a stop between your start and destination (home).
