For me it happens when I don’t have anything selected. If I select a road it doesn’t seem to happen.
Places disappearing:
Happens anywhere on the map with places.
Currently the workaround seems to be to have something selected. Refreshing doesn’t always work.

Since I was out of editing for a while, it’s tough for me to know if a problem I am seeing is (a) truly novel and warrants reporting, (b) something that has already been reported and in the pipeline, or (c) already reported and just not going to be addressed.
So with that said, I apologize if bring things up that have been hashed over.
And with that said… has there any discussion about the really clunky way that street name suggestions are populated when entering a name for a street on a segment or place?
When you click into the field to enter a name, some suggested names that I guess are theoretically supposed to be from the area get offered in a drop down, but they are not in alphabetical order and should be.
More importantly, when using this field, I often type out the entire name of the street, with an existing segment using that name in plain sight on the editor, and yet the street name I need never appears in the suggestions, I end up having to type it all the way out. What is being used to populate this suggestion list if not all of the closest segments around where you’re working?
And then sometimes no suggestions are offered at all, either, when there’s lots of stuff around to get suggestions from, as clearing the text from the field wipes the suggestion list and it stays blank as you type.
Standard suggestive text behavior is to narrow the list of suggestions as the user types, and this field doesn’t do anything remotely like that…

Thank you for the details and the screenshot! I added it to our internal report.
After adding this suggestion to the map, it still remains visible on the side panel, even though it has already been added to the map and the settings for map suggestions clearly indicate to only display suggestions that are still open.

Did you click apply to those filters? Looks like that’s missing, as the title I see in saved searches is all issues (which is the default, meaning no new filters were aplied)

Yeah I noticed this works fine in English UK too. It’s English Australia that is having issues in this template.

i would like to update you that this issue happening again
it is resolved in the previous WME version but in this version 2.252 it appears again although it is not 100 percent appear everytime just like on 2.242

do not surprise if you see there’s a lot of “natural features” there. that’s the hack for body of water issue. thank you.
Regarding the disappearing places, realized I left out an important possible detail. When the places disappear, any places that have PURs pending do not.
