No one will approve my edits?

I’m pretty enthusiastic about Waze, especially the ability of the app to direct one to the correct entrance/lot of a location, rather than the physical map address.

I’ve been trying to edit the parking lots in my area — correcting the boundaries and adding the entry points. However, no level 2 editors in my area either exist in the first place, or will bother to see if there are edits to approve.

How can I submit these updates? Can I be promoted just based on the fact that I’m a good, honest user? I don’t even know if anyone else in my area exists that does any edits.

Where are your edits? Can you give me a PL (permalink) by pressing Ctrl+C while hovering over the chain link in the bottom right corner?

Your user profile shows you started editing yesterday, and that you added two parking lots last night. We have several editors in the Philadelphia area, but with so many issues to handle in the city, it can take some time for an editor to notice and respond to things like this. But we always appreciate the help.

As for the parking lots, I would direct you here for some basic information on parking lots, which types to use, naming, details, etc. I noticed one of your parking lots had no details set at all, making it unusable to app users.

We always request new editors start here to get some basic information on editing. You may have already seen that, but give it a read if not.

If you’d like to edit on a regular basis, we’d love to have you join our community. We have a Google Hangout for PA Editors where you can ask any questions you might have. It’s a great place to learn. You can join by clicking here. If you do join, just give a quick introduction of yourself so we can say hello.

Welcome! Try turning on the GPS points feature when editing to see where parking lot roads would be needed.
