Yesterday I had a drive in Neighboring country, I’m aware that I can make edits in my drivable area. In one town I was able to edit roads and add hazards. In other I can only edit roads, but I get Saving error “You have no permissions to make some of the changes” when trying to add hazards.
this does not seem like a wme bug, it may just be your drive has not been updated yet to the wme, if you open wme, click the layers option, scroll down and tick editable area, it will show, where you can edit?
The country you drove into may have different locking standards. That would be the first thing to check. If the standards are the same, and you still can’t edit, then this might be a local issue, since others have not reported similar issues here. You can reach out to those local editors and follow up with them about this.
We need to be sure it is a bug first, we aren’t seeing similar reports from other areas. What are the lock standards for hazards in the country you were trying to add to?
my location must be different with Thread Starter Location
but in my location local champ, AM, and Wazer that drive there unable to add sharp curve here. this is only example. we have a lot of similar issue in coast area.
wow, thanks. never knew staff will respond to the post.
okay, to provide information so that you can help us.
A link to the segment you were trying to edit. this is the link. CM, AM, Wazer that has drive there (and also drop UR) asking for the change, unable to edit and key in the change.
A description of the specific change you wanted to make. Since it is a sharp turn, we would like to add sharp curve hazard there.
Just FYI, your screenshot has scripts/extensions running. I am not sure if that could be the issue, but testing and screenshots should be done without scripts/extensions to ensure it is not related.
Thank you very much for pointing it out. Yes you are correct. We have to be certain that the script doesn’t have any effect at all.
So, here is the screenshot of WME without any script at all (both tampermonkey and toolbox disabled, it means that WME is running without any script at all).
The behavior is consistent with the previous post. It is confirmed that it doesn’t have any relationship with the script that is being used.
My friend also helped me by running in incognito mode but was unable to share a screenshot with me. She was experiencing the exact same error message as I have encountered.
