You have removed the locking north feature from the current version. This feature is vital for me in working with the map and needs to be restored in the next update. PLEASE RECOGNIZE THAT MOST, IF NOT ALL MAPS, ARE ORIENTED TO POINT NORTH. THIS IS STANDARD MAPPING PROTOCOL. Your current setting of letting the map orientate as you travel is confusing, misleading and dangerous as it can cause a driver to make a wrong turn.
This isn’t the right part of the forum for this, so hopefully this will be moved. Are you on the version of Waze that was released very recently?
If so, tap the screen then the compass to display an N on the compass. This is North Lock Up. This should also be visible in settings under Map Display options.
