Orphan "Turn instructions" popup

Steps to reproduce this issue:

  1. Select a segment.
  2. Put the mouse over a green turn arrow.
  3. Click on “Instructions” in the turn popup.
  4. The “Turn instructions” popup appears.
  5. Click on an empty area on the map.
  6. BUG: The segment is unselected, the turn popup disappears, but the “Turn instructions” popup is still shown.
  7. BUG; Select another segment. The same “Turn instructions” popup is still shown.

The bug was reproduced in Chrome incognito window on Windows 10, both in WME Beta and Pro, IL environment.

I believe those orphan popups exist since a while.
Same issue with popups showing details of a turn closure.

Honestly I don’t know how long it has existed, I don’t click away from the box so I never noticed if this happened.

I’m not sure, but I think I noticed this bug in WME Prod about two weeks ago.

Thank you @RussPA, @lg1992, @Fkzy for your input! I’ll pass your comments along to the team. I have a feeling this flow may have just been missed during implementation. Anyway, the current behaviour is definitely confusing, so we’ll request a fix.
