Other wazers dont move. Why?

Kind of new to waze. I have noticed other wazers dont move on map. They also drop off the screen at times. Can anyone help me understand this.

For security reasons the Wazer icons only update every 5-10 mins.

Also for performance reasons. Your phone only updates with the servers every 2 minute or so. At that point it grabs what it knows from the servers (traffic, reports, other wazers). Because the other wazers are also only reporting every 2 minutes, between the two updates there is a delay. Also they filter out some of the wazers in high density areas as you wouldn’t be able to see the map (sometime even the filtering is not enough :slight_smile: )
