And you’re right, the request should go to the existing topic instead of creating a new one for each request.

This “feature” was released in the WME on March 25, 2021: v2.75-2

At the time, a link was requested for each type of request: Unlock request, Map update request and Road closure request.
This way, by clicking on one of the types, you would be directed to the respective “sub-category” of Brazil: Maps and Map Editing.
