Permalinks - only VISIBLE segments please

When you are selecting segments in the Editor to create a Permalink and you pan the map, the Editor caches the segments you have “seen”. This means you can create a permalink that contains far more segments than are visible on-screen.

When another editor opens your permalink, they will not have panned across the same area you have. As a result, only segments from your permalink that are on-screen (or very close to it) will be selected.

Please only supply permalinks with all segments visible on-screen when you make an Editor Request.

Also, ensure all the selected segments are visible at that zoom level, and turn off Editable Area layer.

This is dependent on screen resolution and browser window size, so keeping the highlighted roads dead-centre of your browser will increase the chance of the other editor seeing what you see.
