[Place Update Request] Church moved – need to update address and info

Hi Editors,

We recently moved our church to a new location, but the Waze listing still shows our old address, phone number, and outdated photos.

We don’t have access to the original account that added the place.

Can you please help us update the listing?

Old Address:
1370 E Robindale Rd, Las Vegas, NV 89123

New Address:
2306 E Pama Lane, Las Vegas, NV 89119

Phone Number:
(702) 469-5162 (same as before)

Service Hours:

  • Sunday Worship: 11:00 AM & 1:00 PM
  • Youth EM: 11:00 AM (Sunday School)
  • Kids KM: 11:00 AM (Sunday School)
  • Early Morning Prayer: Tue–Sat at 6:30 AM
  • Discipleship Training: Tue–Sun (9 teams)

We’d also like to upload new photos if possible.

Also, since we no longer have access to the original account that submitted the place,
is there a way for our new church administrator to get access to manage future edits
(such as photo updates, service times, etc.)?

We’d be happy to verify our affiliation with the church if needed.

We can relocate this place in Waze. We also note that Google Maps and other services will need to be updated. You will need to submit separate requests to those services.

One thing which may cause some difficulty in getting updates to Google Maps is the organization’s website still lists the E Robindale Rd location. https://www.gracevalleychurch.org/

Any Wazer with an account can suggest edits to places in the Waze Map Editor. Wazers can also add places to the Waze map using the Waze app when at the location by selecting Report > Place and taking a photo of the place and adding all necessary details. Map editors will review and moderate them accordingly. Thus, the account used to update Waze won’t be necessary. However, we can’t say the same is true of Google Maps or other services.

I have added the new location to the Waze map and have put a note on the old location. Until the Google Maps location is updated, users might still get routed to the old location.

Additionally, anyone who has searched for the old location in Waze before may need to remove that location from their search history and favorite or saved places, as applicable, and search for the new location. This is because of the way the Waze app caches old location info.
