I keep reporting police speed camera vans but eventually they drop off map even though speed camera vans still there so annoying
We need a new category for camera vans that display immediately as they always move to new locations.
Current speed camera reports more for fixed cameras and need editor review before showing

Mobile camera reports only last for approx 20 mins before they fall off, unless another user “likes” the report.
They do display immediately!

Have put a screen shot of the standard speed camera report… this one doesn’t show on the map immediately
Yes, that will need approval from an editor, when you report “police” from the app, that is for mobile Van’s & works instantly

Rather than create another post I thought I would ask on this relevant one.
As there are far fewer users in some of the rural areas of NZ. Is there a way to extend the report drop off time?
20mins is far too short to be of any use even on SH2.
There are speed cameras, police traps, road works, potholes all along my daily commute on SH2. I try to report as many as possible. Recently found that a friend taking the same route an hour or so later did not get any of those reports.

I can ask staff to extend the default time.
I will review the other report defaults also.
That would be great. I am trying to convince people into using Waze to share this sort of info. But that info doesn’t stick around long enough. I feel like it should be at least an hour or two in this area. Just don’t have the volume of people.
I have asked staff to update the following
Police (Visible & Hidden) 1 hour
Construction (Roadworks) 8 hours
Potholes 5 days
It may take a week or so to get actioned.
