Previously merged gas stations shown incorrectly in app

Steps to reproduce this issue:
I’ve received like 4 URs before related to this issue.

  1. By merging two stations lets say the old is MOL which is bought by Orlen , so we merge them / rename (rebrand) as Orlen.
  2. But in the app shows currently as MOL instead of Orlen.

i will wait for the Reporter answer to clarify his/her preference of Brand and a screen shot.

I tried to reproduce it in Lockito but nothing pop up for me neither MOL or Orlen , i think it’s because of my different preference.

If i have a little time i change it to see how it works.

Thank you for sharing this report.

I checked and the issue is also reproducible on my end. I logged an internal case for the team to look into the behavior and once I have any updates, I will let you know.

Also, if you come across any other URs related to this problem, could you please share them?

The MOL marker in app comes from the Google place advertising.

If Google has a place point for Orlen as well as MOL, you should submit a request to mark MOL as permanently closed.

Thanks! it was really there but someone renamed it incorrectly so i chose as it’s not there.
But it’s really hard to handle these because of the google maps data, since we receive these reports in waze.
And the “best” thing is that someone must approve you’re edit in gmaps.
