Ramps to (toll) Freeways

Hi,

I’ve seen a number of different versions of this scenario. Some where the ramps to (toll) Freeways are set as toll roads themselves and others where they are left as normal ramps. Which is correct?

I remember someone suggested during Mapraid that only to mark the entry segment as toll. IIRC that is the US guidelines? I prefer that way.

Hello all. I only marked the entry ramp as toll road, and leave the toll option unticked on the freeway. I think this reduce workload for other editors when they come work on the same freeway, at the same time one less chance for mistake. Is it right to do so? Please advice.

Hi,

Talking with Leo it appears that all Freeways should be Toll Roads. Most have toll booths at periods along their length, as well as at entrances to the Freeways.

Ok~ So we concluded Freeways and entrance ramps all marked as toll road?

Yep sounds good

Ok. Roger that~!

I’m also not naming the ramps, with either city or street name

Ramp to Freeway is toll road as well.
the Toll Gate for the Freeway always set before you into the ramp.

这个有什么问题么?

需要花钱才允许通行的路段,就是收费路段

Naming the ramp is other issue we have to discuss. Please open s new topic. I’m still in holiday. Once I come back, I’ll go through the discussion.
