This has always bothered me. Instead of being a ramp type, it should just be set to Freeway and the name should be I-295 S like the previous segment. There’s no need for the wayfinder segment here–as you can see from street view, only those exiting left would need navigation/TTS clarification.
this is what I get:
Via I- 295 S
depart from To I-95 S / SR-141 / Newark / Baltimore
continue on I- 295 S
keep right onto To I-95 S / Del. Tpke Baltimore / Toll Road
continue on I-95 S
arrive at destination.
It seems correct. I’ll double check and get back to you on this.
Hmm I will have to fire up my client later and try this again. I could have sworn the last time I heard it say “Exit to the right to I-95 etc etc” but I could just be crazy (also likely).
I think that this may be a scenario where less is more? Do we really need a wayfinder segment here? If so, then I would suggest at least updating the name to read a little more friendly in TTS (no pause between Tpke and Baltimore right now).
to I-95 S: Delaware Tpke / Baltimore
^^ how I would write out that sign if we keep it as a wayfinder segment.
“dell” like the computer company was what it spoke last time I drove through there.
I’ll PM you separately if I notice any further issues there or if nav seems confusing because of it. A couple URs said it was “confusing” since it was saying to “exit right” but I will have to double check.
Oh sorry, I thought you were talking about some crazy feature on the client. I have the main status page bookmarked so I can keep an eye on updates. But thanks for the tip regardless!
