Regions

Waze appears to have a new category, in addition (and in-between) Country and City: Region.

This does not appear to be active in all places (including China and HK).

China has many Provinces and Municipalities (but that’s for another thread).

Hong Kong has, simply, Hong Kong, Kowloon and the New Territories (basically, everywhere else).

Might be useful if we could get the Regions feature activated for Hong Kong (and for China).

Thoughts?

Can anyone escalate this?

haha…I requested this few years ago for China and Waze replied that it is a complicated process

For clarify, do you mean ‘state’ in US or ‘county’ in UK? I haven’t heard the term ‘Region’

Yes, I can see “State” as the [missing] option.

Would be useful to be able to apply to Hong Kong and separately China as discussed here.

Cheers
