Removing the Wazeopedia Global Template from pages

Someone correct me if I am wrong (PZ :wink: ), but I think we are ready to start removing the WOP Global Template from our USA pages.

They should all be links to this category, so they will be easy to find.

We need to remove the code at the top of the page, which looks like:

Once this code is removed (including the template at the top), it will automatically be removed from the category list and we will know it is updated.

Also, we need to review the page and remove the global references that are outside the scope of the USA. It is OK to leave content that helps understand that there may be differences with other countries in case we have editors from multiple countries, but there is no need to cover the differences unless we find specific problems we need to cover going forward.

Once PZ confirms we are good to proceed with these steps, I think we can have anyone who wants to participate with these edits to help out.

Yes absolutely! I’ve already mentioned this elsewhere, and started removing them wherever I bump into them. I always try to leave a simple summary such as Removing {{GlobalMark}}.

You may find some pages which don’t have the full code block, but only have {{GlobalMark}} or {{GlobalMark/visible}}

Additional Note: While most pages will have the full code block Kent mentioned above at the top, some may (also) have a marker placed (only) for individual sections. It is possible there may be more than one marker placed on a page.
