I’ve been out of the editing game for a while (this account is amazingly over ten years old I see!), and I’m dealing with a UR at West Suffolk Hospital.
I’ve tested the routing in a livemap and Waze actually routes past the parking roads to take the driver in through the private road. I considered this may be because the place marker is over the private road areas and is not over the parking road, but rather than just change the place marker, I’d like to know for sure this is what is up. Can someone please advise me on this?
Both road types have a heavy routing penalty when exiting from a segment of that type so moving from one to another is discouraged by the routing and it will prefer to stay routing along the same road type.
As for this location, the destination is mapped in the wrong location, it should not be on the front door, but on the first segment off Hardwick Lane, which would then allow users to follow the on site signage.
Based on the users comment they may not have been navigating to the Waze mapped location anyway.
Please also correct this 2 segment loop, all loops must have 3 segments.
