I’m alobaili, a Level 4 editor, Waze localizer, and many more. My contributions to Waze never stopped since I knew about it 2 years ago. I have dedicated and will dedicate a lot of my time to build a reliable local community of active wazers in Saudi Arabia.
I’m starting to gather enthusiastic new local editors to start a local active community in WME, and would like to have the support in order to do so. I would like to have permission to edit around Saudi Arabia and be able to unlock Level 5 locked places and segments in order to help this local community grow fast and catch up with the world.
the community in Saudi Arabia started very well by non-local editors who managed to build a usable map in a fantastic and beautiful way, but after a while the community became less active (even the champs and country managers I met became less active) in a way that made me think it’s dead.
The only active editor in Riyadh Province for the past year or so is only me! The rest of Saudi Arabia is nearly dead and needs someone like me to help it thrive again.
I tried PMs with Waze staff and Country Managers, I also tried filling forms, but with no response.
Can someone help me help the community? There are a lot of plans and ideas, primarily focusing on building a community of locals who understand English and Arabic, to be the future leaders of Waze in Saudi Arabia.
