[Script] WME HN Display

WME HN Display is a script to enhance the display of house numbers in the editor. It is similar to the functionality of HN NavPoints, but with some key differences – in particular, this script will colorize the WME native house number markers.

See the “HND” script tab for the legend and configuration options.

A note on zoom levels: the script can only display those HNs that are loaded into WME’s data model, which depends on the zoom level. Currently, all HNs are loaded at level 17 and above; at wider levels, only a subset of segments have their HNs loaded, until at zoom level 13 there are no HNs to display at all. However, in practice, the script struggles when there are a large number of HNs to display within the map window. As a practical matter, zoom level 18 is the widest that is useful in a dense urban or suburban area, while levels 17 and lower are only useful in more rural/unpopulated areas.

Also, note that when you add, move, or edit a HN, the highlighting and stop point for that number will not reappear until you have saved your edits or reloaded the map. This is a limitation imposed by the data available through the WME SDK.

Looks good, thanks for this.
The HNs appear underneath the GIS-L text, making it impossible to see. Any chance they could be shown on top like Navpoints does?

Version 2025.11.19.01 should solve this issue.

Did you only make it available in the “en-US” editor version on purpose?

Edit: it does work with me if I make it an asterisk wildcard. It’s a nice one, thanks!

No, I did not – sorry!! I’ve fixed this in a new version today.
