Self-connectivity on cul-de-sac

I have a question about self-connectivity and cul-de-sacs. i haven’t been able to find anything about this in my searches. I understand how to break the self-connectivity, but I am not sure that is the answer here. Here is the link- https://www.waze.com/editor/?lon=-86.75697&lat=33.39795&zoom=2. Should Oak Glen Trce terminate at the cul-de-sac and delete the loop entirely or should I break the loop? Thanks for the help.

The instructions you are looking for is in the Junction Style Guide wiki here .
Your analysis is accurate. The most important aspect concerning us editors, is simplicity in relation to routing. A driver at the end of the block will have no issue determining that this is a Cul-de-sac, making the loop unnecessary. If possible, break the self-con loop, rename it Oak Glen Trce and then recycle the segments to make one straight line ending at the further end of the island. (Make sure to delete the extra nodes.) As a rule of thumb, we try not to delete segments as there is data associated with every segment. Only delete the loop if WME wont let you save it this way; this particular segment does not appear to hold any important data.

Once you have the straight line, you should also be able to correct the placement of the addresses that were forced.

Finally, the PL you provided was at an extremely high zoom level and no segment was highlighted when I opened it. The correct PL would look like this .

Thanks for the input. I’ll make those changes. I’m not sure why the zoom level was so high. Another thing to work on.
Thanks again.
