Please forgive me if this question has been asked before. I did do a quick search, but couldn’t see the particular question.
So, is it possible for favourites to be automatically sorted into alphabetical order. I know how to do it manually, and it’s no problem to do that as I create new entries. But I just wondered if it could be done. My previous sat nav’s all do it. Also, it it possible to create separate folders for different groups of favourites. Such as family members, work related, or leisure venues?
This is not possible from what I am aware. They are either sorted in the order you add them, or you can manually sort them.

Warning: whenever you update the app to a new version, it will remove any order changes you have made and return the favourites to the order they were created in.
And if that isn’t annoying enough, it will also happen on random occasions between updates.
I mention this to staff every year or two. The response is invariably “I didn’t know that happens”. :?
Not only that, but for me, it happens most times when I reopen Waze.
A long time ago, I raised this, and I was assured that it would be fixed.
I have posted a request to Google to either stop reordering Favourites or to at least sort them alphabetically.
You might want to do the same.

I’ve just gone to the “vote” page, and it says arranging favourites alphabetically is only available on IOS. I use an iPhone, but have no idea how to sort, other than manually, which changes itself back. So can it be done automatically on IOS?
