There’s a recent UR stating that this speed camera no longer exists.

However, I am unable to remove. Maybe it’s locked above my rank. However, I don’t see a lock level for speed cameras in WME. I was able to remove a speed camera about a week ago. Let me know what I’m missing. Thanks,

I belive cameras are locked to the rank of the editor that last edited it. Or at least the rank of the editor that last approved it.

I’ve usually tried to contact the last editor before deleting cameras. The cameras are locked to the last editor level.

That’s odd. I’ve neither made any changes to the camera in the editor nor have I driven anywhere near it while running Waze. I have no idea why it lists my name as the last user to make any changes to it. Regardless, since it appears that it should be removed based on the update request, I can go ahead and do that.

How long does it take for a camera to get removed from app once removed from the map? I know foxxymito removed the camera several days ago. Thank you for that foxxymito.

Removing a camera by itself will not trigger a tile update. So make sure that some other edit has occurred in the area. Change a geometry node slightly and save.
That’s an important piece of advice I need to file away. Thanks. I just updated the segments under the speed cameras. Let’s see what happens.
